Walter Gargano’s one-game suspension for accumulating yellow cards was also confirmed, meaning that Walter Mazzarri is without both him and Zuniga for Napoli’s crucial trip next weekend to Lazio.

A total of 11 other players have also been banned for a single round of action: Inter’s Julio Cesar and Lucio, Palermo’s Andrea Mantovani, Abel Hernandez and Massimo Donati, Siena’s Franco Brienza, Genoa’s Fernando Belluschi, Fiorentina’s Riccardo Montolivo, Chievo’s Dario Dainelli and Cesena’s Adrian Mutu and Daniel Pudil.

Meanwhile, the Cavallucci Marini’s Coach Mario Beretta was given a €5,000 fine and warned of future conduct for an offensive gesture made during his team’s draw with Lecce.
