Martin Zubimendi has continued to impress with Real Sociedad and has reportedly attracted the attention of both Juventus and Milan ahead of the summer.

The Bianconeri are expected to invest heavily to strengthen their midfield in the summer after losing Paul Pogba to a long-term ban in recent months. Nicolo Fagioli is also unavailable due to suspension, but will return just before the end of the campaign.

Juventus have long had their sights set on Atalanta star Teun Koopmeiners and are expected to fight with Napoli for his signature in the summer, but the Dutchman isn’t the only player in the crosshairs in Turin.

Page six of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport details how Juventus are looking to pick up a new defensive midfielder to free up Manuel Locatelli in their system, and believe Real Sociedad’s Zubimendi would be a strong addition to the squad.

The 25-year-old Spaniard, who has seen 3299 minutes of action across 40 matches so far this term, has a €60m release clause – a high fee for the Bianconeri – but his salary is accessible, making a deal possible.

Milan are also interested in Zubimendi, as other some other clubs from abroad. He has scored four goals and provided one assist across 26 La Liga matches this term, and is contracted to the Basque club to June 2027.
