There are reports Dino Zoff has been in hospital for three weeks due to a neurological condition.

According to Il Messaggero newspaper, Zoff is currently in a Roman clinic and has been for almost a month.

He is alleged to be suffering from a neurodegenerative condition which is making it difficult for the former athlete to walk.

However, the same report insists doctors have got the situation under control, his condition is improving and not considered life-threatening.

The former Italy goalkeeper and Coach, who won the World Cup in 1982 aged 40, has been essentially retired over the last 10 years.

He will turn 74 in February and was tactician of Juventus, Lazio, Italy and Fiorentina.

Juventus have confirmed Zoff is "going through a difficult health situation, but is on the road to recovery. He is a strong man and a legend. We are all right behind him."
