“The Azzurri have played very well and got some great results. However, for Juventus to succeed in a comeback like that means our League has some deficiencies.
“Juventus have the will to win, the quality of the team and the seriousness of the club. Those are all components of those who know how to win.”
Zoff was then asked about Francesco Totti’s situation at Roma, as it appears Er Pupone won’t be offered a new contract.
“He did very well for me with the national team. He’s someone who can do anything, he’s great. He’s a legend, he should be at Roma.”
Finally, the former Italy CT was asked about the Azzurri’s chances at Euro 2016 this summer.
“I expect a good Euros,” Zoff predicted.
“We qualified well, and credit has to go to [Antonio] Conte. The squad is a bit limited, with the number of foreigners in our League.”
