Juventus legend Dino Zoff says the pressure is all on Roma tonight, as even a draw will do for his old side.

The Bianconeri take on their closest title challengers in the Italian capital tonight, and will go 12 points clear at the top if they emerge with a win.

“Is this the decisive match for the League?” Zoff considered as he spoke to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website.

“Yes, if Juventus win. If Roma win though, everything would open up again.

“Is this the decisive match for the League?” Zoff considered as he spoke to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website.

“Yes, if Juventus win. If Roma win though, everything would open up again.

“A draw? It would certainly be a point gained for [Juventus Coach Massimiliano] Allegri’s team. So we can say that Juve would be happy with two of the three results available.

“Home advantage could be a factor for Roma, but often that hasn’t proved to be the case.”

The former goalkeeper also discussed the fortunes of Italian sides in Europe, and believes that Serie A is on the up.

“I think that Juventus can get through against Borussia [Dortmund].

“Then Roma, like the other Italian clubs in the Europa League, have done very well and shown that our league is not as bad as they say.

“Maybe there are two or three nations that have more top teams, but we’re not far behind. It’s also important for the UEFA rankings.”
