The Bianconeri captain confirmed today that Saturday will be his last game for the club, though he hasn’t yet decided if he’s going to retire.
“He was one of the best, his career was splendid,” Zoff told RMC Sport.
“He hasn’t yet said if he’s done, so we’ll have to wait to make judgements.

“The Ballon d’Or? I finished second too, but I didn’t complain because [Johan] Cruyff won it. Buffon did well, but as long as there are monsters like [Lionel] Messi and [Cristiano] Ronaldo around it’s hard for him to win.
“Maybe in another period he could have done it, but not in these years. They’re phenomena.”
