According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan remain in talks to sign Hakim Ziyech, who is fascinated by a potential move to the San Siro.

The Rossoneri are on the lookout for a new attacking midfielder after Hakan Calhanoglu’s free transfer to Inter.

The Chelsea man is one of the players monitored by Milan who, according to the paper via MilanNews), are still in talks with both the Blues and Ziyech’s agent.

The former Ajax star is reportedly tempted by a move to Milan where he would be given a starting spot, while he’s been lacking regular playing time at Chelsea during Thomas Tuchel’s reign.

However, it won’t be easy to convince Chelsea as the Blues don’t seem willing to sell the player on loan with an option to buy.

The two clubs are on good terms after Fikayo Tomori and Olivier Giroud’s moves to Milan from Chelsea this summer, so Milan hope they can reach an agreement with the Premier League giants.

Ziyech joined Chelsea from Ajax in 2020 and managed six goals and four assists in 39 appearances across all competitions.
