Milan are in talks with Kia Joorabchian to sign his client Joshua Zirkzee. The Rossoneri already met the powerful agent more than ten years ago during negotiations to sign Carlos Tevez from Manchester City.

Several sources in Italy claim Milan are ready to pay Zirkzee’s €40m clause to sign the striker from Bologna this summer, although this is not enough to secure the Dutchman’s signature.

Any club interested in the 22-year-old must, in fact, reach an agreement with his agent, Joorabchian, who is said to have asked for a commission in the region of €15m.

Zirkzee: Milan deal with Joorabchian again after collapsed Tevez transfer from Man City

Friday’s printed edition of Tuttosport newspaper on page 18 claims Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani is trying to lower the agent’s demands and would not want to add more than €10m to the striker’s transfer fee.

The Turin-based paper notes that Milan were already in this situation in January 2012 when their ex-director, Adriano Galliani, tried to sign Tevez from Manchester City.

Joorabchian was also the agent of the Argentinean striker whose move to San Siro collapsed 12 years ago because ex-President Silvio Berlusconi refused to sell Pato to PSG to finance Tevez’s transfer.

The Argentinean striker did move to Serie A one year later, joining Milan rivals Juventus in the summer of 2013.
