Juventus are seriously interested in signing Bologna star Joshua Zirkzee and have developed a cunning strategy to snap up the Milan and Arsenal target, Gianluca Di Marzio revealed.

The 22-year-old Dutch striker is one of the hottest topics ahead of the summer transfer window, with a long list of clubs in Italy and across Europe interested in securing his signature. This season, he has scored 10 goals across 28 Serie A matches with Thiago Motta’s Bologna.

On Thursday, Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Zirkzee had decided to prioritise a move to Milan in the summer and had informed his agents to start laying the foundations for a transfer, preferring a move to the Rossoneri over clubs like Arsenal, Juventus and Manchester United.

Zirkzee plan

Di Marzio revealed how Juventus have started to make concrete moves in an attempt to snap up Zirkzee this summer, putting pressure on Bayern Munich. The Old Lady are pushing the German side to activate the €40m buy-back clause, allowing the two giants to negotiate between each other.

Arsenal are also serious about the 22-year-old Dutch striker and have prepared a contract worth around €6m net per season. Milan are in the running too but need to generate resources before coming to the table.
