Ah-Ahli are continuing to push for Piotr Zielinski, who is now seriously considering leaving Napoli for Saudi Arabia, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.

The 29-year-old Polish midfielder has entered the last year of his contract with the Partenopei and renewal talks have no progressed well, with recent reports suggesting that the latest offer was worth less than his current deal.

Zielinski was an important part of the Napoli squad that broke their 33-year wait for a Scudetto, seeing 2958 minutes of action in 48 appearances across all competitions for the club. In that time, he scored seven goals and provided 11 assists.

As reported by Di Marzio, Al-Ahli have already submitted an offer for Zielinski and now continuing to push for his signature, convincing him to start seriously considering the proposal.

Napoli are seemingly open to selling the Polish midfielder this summer, with Lazio one of the clubs interested in picking him up.

Saudi clubs have been incredibly active this summer, picking up countless well-known players from across Europe. The latest of these is Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who switched the Biancocelesti for Al-Hilal.
