Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski claims he is happy at the Stadio Maradona and doesn’t want to leave the club.

The Poland international didn’t have one of his best seasons last term but still managed six goals in 35 Serie A appearances in 2021-22.

There are rumours that he could leave Napoli in the summer, but Zielinski isn’t considering walking out of the Stadio Maradona.

“I don’t know where these rumours come from, I don’t think my journey at Napoli will end this summer,” he told Polish media while on international duty.

“I have an important contract with the club, which will last two more years. I feel well at Napoli, even if I read different things somewhere.

“I’ve never said I want to leave. It is true that I struggled in the second part of the campaign, but I won’t leave because of that. I want to continue at Napoli because it’s a great club.”

  1. @Jon
By selling everyone – do you mean letting Lorenzo go for free because that’s what he decided to do last year?

    Who else has been sold?

  2. Insigne, mertens, koulubaly, zelinski, Fabian Ruiz to name a few are being offered lower wages, effectively being sold.
