Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski has already undergone his medicals with Inter ahead of a free transfer in the summer.
The 29-year-old Polish midfielder has decided not to sign a new contract with the Partenopei and will leave at the end of the season. He has already agreed to the terms of a deal with the Nerazzurri, setting up a three-year contract with an option for a fourth worth circa €4m net per season.
In the meantime, Inter are already working to complete the deal for Mehdi Taremi, preparing to carry out the Iranian striker’s medicals this week. He’ll also join the club on a free transfer in the summer after his contract expires with Porto.
As reported by Calciomercato.com, Zielinski underwent his medicals with Inter amidst great secrecy last month, which could possibly explain why Napoli reacted by taking him off their registered UEFA squad.
The 29-year-old Polish midfielder, who started in the 1-0 loss to Milan on Sunday night, has scored three goals and provided three assists in 27 games across all competitions this term.
