“We’ll see,” was his response.
Real Madrid were held to a 0-0 draw by Manchester City, but the real shock was that Cristiano Ronaldo failed a fitness test and wasn’t even on the bench.
“He was unable to play. He felt something in yesterday’s training session. The important thing is that he recovers for the second leg and we will evaluate his condition day by day.
“It’s obvious that his absence influenced the game, but those who did play performed well. We are all doing a good job in the defensive movements and are giving our all.”
