According to L’Equipe, Zinedine Zidane will likely leave Real Madrid, and Juventus remain a possible destination for the French coach.
The French paper reports Zidane will meet Florentino Perez this week and an official announcement confirming the coach’s exit could follow their summit.
Perez usually plans the future with Real Madrid coaches in springtime, and the fact that he didn't do the same this season suggests Zidane is on his way out of the Santiago Bernabeu.
Real Madrid have failed to win a single trophy this season, for the first time since 2009-10.
Last week Zidane said Real Madrid would be better without him, suggesting he would leave the club at the end of the season.
Juventus have been heavily linked with welcoming the services of their former star, who, in 2001 during his playing career, left the Bianconeri to join the Merengues.
Andrea Pirlo won the Coppa Italia and the Italian Super Cup this season, but struggled to earn a top four finish, which he snatched in the final game of the season.
The former ‘Maestro’ is on the brink and is waiting for official communication from his club.
Juventus, however, are not the only option for Zidane who has also been linked with the France National team.
