Zidane has been linked with replacing the former 'Maestro' and according to several reports, he will leave Real Madrid in the summer.

"It has been very tough, but we arrive in the final round ready to give our all," the 1998 World Cup winner said in his press conference before the final game of the season against Villareal.

"We have a game tomorrow, that's the important thing. Then we'll see because we have time to talk about that. Now is not the moment. After 37 matches, do you think we're going to waste time about next year now?

“Me or one other person isn't what's important here. It's the team. Tomorrow is all that interests us. That's the truth."

When he was asked if Real Madrid could be a better team without him he replied: "Certainly."

Former Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri met Real Madrid earlier this month and is one of the candidates to take over at the Stadio Bernabeu in 2021-22.
