Inter President Steven Zhang has assured fans that Suning Group is running the club with a view to ‘the next 10 years’.

Suning’s involvement has seen Inter return to the Champions League, and Zhang made it clear the Chinese conglomerate had much bigger fish to fry at San Siro.

“In the next 3-5 years, Inter will continue to grow and aim for higher objectives,” the 27-year-old told Xinhua.

“In the next 3-5 years, Inter will continue to grow and aim for higher objectives,” the 27-year-old told Xinhua.

“Only by being in the Champions League will the value of our players, brand and even the club’s perception among fans improve significantly.

“Of course, the more difficult the climb will be, the more persevering we’ll have to be, going step by step: for the next three, five and 10 years, we must move towards the objective of returning to the top of the world.”
