The future of Fabio Quagliarella at Juventus is again in doubt after fresh links with Zenit St Petersburg.

The 28-year-old extended his contract with the Old Lady in April until the summer of 2015, but a switch could still be on the horizon.

Quagliarella scored only four goals last term after returning to full fitness following knee ligament damage in January 2011.

According to some reports on Monday, the Old Lady could be willing to listen to cash offers for the man born in Naples.

Zenit, at the request of former Udinese boss Luciano Spalletti, are interested in the Italian international forward.

An offer of around €12m may be considered by the Turin giants given that those funds could them be re-invested in a bid for Arsenal’s Robin Van Persie or Stevan Jovetic of Fiorentina.
