SampNews24 reported today that Cassano has accepted Samp’s offer, believed to be a one-year deal worth €1m plus bonuses with the option of adding a second year.

The outlet reports that Zenga will be given the casting vote on the transfer, as he is believed to be unsure about the forward’s return.

However, the report suggests he is likely to accept the deal as the squad is lacking the attacking depth necessary to compete on three fronts next season, with Samp playing in the Europa League.
