The Blucerchiati welcome Rudi Garcia’s team to Marassi tomorrow night, looking to bounce back from the weekend defeat to Torino.

“We’re facing one of the strongest teams, one of the contenders for the Scudetto,” Zenga told journalists in his pre-match Press conference.

“We need to have the maximum concentration.

“It all depends on whether we accept the concept of taking them on head-on, and seeing a game with a lot of goals – I accept that.

“All my previous games with Roma have been open with a lot of goals. Let’s see how it goes, we want to be optimistic and always think that today is our best day.

“There are still 33 games to go, it’s a long season. Torino, for example, have shown what can be achieved with a Coach [Giampiero Ventura] who has been there for four years and has put together a solid side.

“I’ve always said that Samp is a point of arrival for me, I want to do well here.”
