Former Italy goalkeeper Walter Zenga is reportedly among the favourites to become Romania’s next Coach.
According to Calciomercato.com, Zenga is in a two-way battle with ex-Milan defender Cosmin Contra to replace Christoph Daum, who is likely to part company with Romania following their failure to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.
The 57-year-old has experience of working in Romania with Bucharest sides National, Dinamo and Steaua, the latter of whom he guided to the Liga I title in 2005.
