Former Roma Coach Zdenek Zeman defends Francesco Totti after recent disputes: “He is Roma.”
Zeman coached the Giallorossi captain in the 2012-13 season and has jumped to his defence after a he was dropped by Luciano Spalletti following a critical interview.
“Totti is Roma,” Zeman told Corriere dello Sport.
“I don’t think it’s possible to emulate what Francesco has given in the last 20 years.

“I don’t think it’s possible to emulate what Francesco has given in the last 20 years.
“He’s given everything to Roma and is certainly not disruptive. It annoys me to hear people talking about him without having a perception of who Totti really is.
“But what do they know? For me he isn’t finished. I know that it’s hard to be a Coach, but there are also Coaches who make mistakes.”
