Whilst a sale to a US consortium led by Luca Silvestrone appeared to have fallen through yesterday, Massimo Cellino soon after announced that a deal to sell to Giulini, head of Sardinian based company Fluorsid, had been agreed.

The Gazzetta dello Sport indicate that Giulini’s first move on the bench will be to replace Ivo Pulga with Diego Lopez ‘to give continuity to last season’.
However, the Corriere dello Sport report that Giulini has an alternative option open to him, in the form of veteran attack-minded tactician Zeman.
The 67-year-old is currently out of work but has been linked with Serie B sides Bologna and Pescara.
