Valencia have asked Juventus to insert Simone Zaza into their bid for Andre Gomes, say reports.

The Portugal international has emerged as one of the Bianconeri’s top targets this summer, but the two clubs have hit a wall recently.

The Spanish side don’t want to go below Gomes’ release clause of €60m, while the Bianconeri are determined to not go above an offer of €30m plus bonuses.

Tuttosport has suggested that Zaza could be key to unlocking the move, as Valencia have told Juve that they would be interested in the striker being used as part of the deal.

The Italy international has been frustrated with his lack of game time this season and is linked with a number of clubs.

Inserting Zaza into an offer would help lower the economic demands of the Spanish club and potentially unlock Gomes’ transfer to Turin, says the report.
