Simone Zaza called for Italy to be “like a tank” at Euro 2016, “then we’ve got the players who can turn a game.”
The Juventus striker spoke to Rai Sport ahead of the tournament opener against Belgium on June 13.
“We must absolutely be like a tank, because after that we’ve got quality too,” said Zaza.
“We have the players who can turn a game, so we must be like animals with blinkers on, only looking ahead.”

The former Sassuolo forward is expected to start alongside Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne.
“It’s fairly obvious that Italy no longer has the talents it did in the past, just think of the forward line that used to have well-known champions who made the difference.
“We, on the other hand, still need to bloom and we can’t really make comparisons.”
