‘Zaza has touch of a champion’

Former Italy goalkeeper Luca Marchegiani believes Simone Zaza is on his way to becoming a star of the Italian game.

“Zaza is an excellent player,” the former Lazio” data-scaytid=”5″>Lazio No 1 told Sky Sport Italia. “He is a player who already has the touch of a champion.

“It is clear that he needs to find some consistency to his game and he needs to grow as a player too.

“He probably needs to play in more high profile games for his club side, perhaps in the years ahead.”

Zaza joined Sassuolo from Juventus” data-scaytid=”10″>Juventus in 2013 on a co-ownership deal and they netted him outright in the summer for €7.5m.

The Italian champions have a buy-back clause set at €15m if they sign him before June 30, 2015, or €18m between that date and June 30, 2016.
