Atalanta stiker Duvan Zapata’s representatives are expected to arrive in Bergamo, as the Colombian is reportedly dreaming of a move to Inter this summer.

The 30-year-old has been linked with the Beneamata to replace Romelu Lukaku, but Atalanta are not willing to let the striker leave unless they have his replacement ready.

Il Corriere dello Sport reports the former Napoli, Udinese and Sampdoria forward wants a move to the Nerazzurri and that his representatives are expected to arrive in Italy to discuss with the Orobici.

Reports in Italy suggested Zapata will not push for a move away from Bergamo but his desire is still to join Simone Inzaghi’s team.

The player’s agents are now arriving in Lombardy to resolve the issue in the best possible way.

Zapata moved to Atalanta on a paid loan in July 2018 and joined the Orobici on a permanent move in January 2020.

His contract with La Dea expires in June 2023 and Atalanta are reportedly not ready to let the goalscorer leave the Gewiss Stadium unless they manage to replace him immediately.
