As the summer transfer window rapidly approaches, Nicolò Zaniolo’s Roma future is still unclear as Juventus and Milan raise their interest.

The 22-year-old Italian winger’s current contract expires with the Giallorossi in 2024 and there’s still no guarantees regarding a renewal, meaning he could be put up on the market this summer to allow Roma to cash in. If he isn’t put up for sale, he could see out the end of his contract in the Italian capital before leaving on a free transfer.

As detailed by TuttoMercatoWeb, both Juventus and Milan are seriously interested in picking up Zaniolo this summer. The former have already opened talks with his entourage and Massimiliano Allegri is a big fan of the 22-year-old, who would cost around €50m. The Bianconeri are not keen to pay this fee and so may look to include Weston McKennie and Nicolò Fagioli in a possible deal.

Milan have also made an approach as they look to understand the feasibility of the deal. The Rossoneri have less options to offer in regards to player exchanges and they also don’t want to pay €50m, even if Investcorp or Red Bird takes the club over from Elliott Management.

Regarding a possible contract renewal with Roma, there have been no news or updates regarding this for some time, leaving Zaniolo’s future shrouded in doubt.
