Nicolò Zaniolo watched his new club Aston Villa beat Everton 4-0 at Villa Park today, posting a picture from the stadium during the game.

The Italy international had joined the Premier League side earlier this week, completing a loan move with an option to buy from Galatasaray. The 24-year-old was at Villa Park today to watch his new teammates in action for the first time.

Zaniolo watched Unai Emery’s side secure a comfortable 4-0 win against Everton and the atmosphere at the stadium in Birmingham seems to have already captured the ex-Roma striker.

The striker was at Villa Park with his mother, Francesca Costa, and both shared pictures taken from the stands with blue and purple heart emojis on their Instagram stories.

It remains to be seen when Zaniolo will make his debut for his new club.

Aston Villa face Hibernian in the Europa Conference League playoffs first leg this coming Wednesday and visit Burnely in their next Premier League match on Sunday, August 27.
