Juventus and Tottenham remain interested in Roma star Nicolò Zaniolo who hasn’t yet extended his contract with Roma.

The Italy international’s current deal expires in June 2024 and despite reports suggesting that his agent Claudio Vigorelli would have reached an agreement with the Giallorossi, the two parties have still not shaken hands, so Juventus are ready to pounce on the ex-Fiorentina and Inter starlet.

Gazzetta and Tuttosport newspapers report the Bianconeri are keeping a close eye on the 23-year-old who has managed two goals and three assists in 14 appearances across all competitions this term.

As per Tuttosport, negotiations between Roma and Zaniolo’s representative will resume in January, but the two parties were expected to meet in December.

Until Zaniolo signs a contract extension with Roma, his future at the club will remain in doubt.

Tottenham are also interested in the versatile striker who has been followed by Spurs’ director Fabio Paratici for a long time.

Juventus are expected to reshuffle the team next season, parting ways with some of their midfielders and strikers, including Weston McKennie and Angel Di Maria, and raising funds to bring new reinforcements in.
