Nicolò Zaniolo is linked with Fiorentina, Juventus, Milan and more, but insists he is in no rush to leave Galatasaray. ‘I am happy in Turkey, we’ll see what happens on the transfer market.’

The Italy international moved to Istanbul in February from Roma, after other alternatives had been shut off by the closing of the transfer window and he rejected a more lucrative bid from Bournemouth.

“I am happy in Turkey, we’ll see what happens on the transfer market,” Zaniolo told TV Play.

“You can never say never, we’ll see.”

Sportitalia claim that Fiorentina are the first club to have made genuine contact with Zaniolo’s entourage, while Juve have long been tracking his progress and had hoped to snap him up directly from Roma.

He received his first Italy call-up since the Galatasaray switch and played in the Nations League Final Four fixtures against Spain and the Netherlands.

“I owe everything to Roberto Mancini, he called me even before I had made a single Serie A appearance. I can only thank him for the faith he has always put in me. You never know what might happen in football, but I’d be happy if one day he was my coach at club level too.”

He turns 24 in July and has 12 senior caps for Italy, contributing two goals.

His performances for Galatasaray have so far brought five goals and one assist in 11 competitive games.
