Roma talent Nicolò Zaniolo can resume full training after a knee check-up and should be ready to play again on April 10.

According to the latest reports, Zaniolo’s test results were so positive that he did not even require the planned visit to Professor Fink in Austria.

He can now resume full training, including changes of direction, sprints and shots on target.

This is the final phase of rehabilitation, and Zaniolo should be able to play for the Roma Primavera youth team from April 10.

On that day, the Giallorossi will be up against Fiorentina.

If he gets some minutes in his legs at that level, he can then return to the pitch for Paulo Fonseca’s side.

Zaniolo is still only 21 years old, but has already ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in both knees.

The first was in January 2020, he had barely made his comeback when he tore the other ACL in September 2020.
