Frick was on target at the weekend in Liechtenstein’s 1-1 draw with Armenia, his first senior goal for his country.

La Repubblica point out this will be a reunion, although one neither might entirely remember, seeing as they were friends as toddlers.

This is because their fathers – Igor Zaniolo and Mario Frick – were teammates at Ternana in 2002-03 and the two families would often meet for play-dates.

Yanik Frick even has a tattoo on his calf depicting a little boy with the Number 10 jersey, holding a football, looking out at a horizon with landmarks from all the clubs his father played for when he was growing up.
