Nicolò Zaniolo trusts Roma fans will inspire them to victory against Real Betis in the Europa League and calls it ‘an honour to share the field’ with Paulo Dybala.
It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).
The Giallorossi are playing catch-up in this group, as Betis have a 100 per cent record after two games, whereas the Italians lost to Ludogorets and beat HJK.
There are circa 5,000 Betis fans in the Capital and there are images online of the mounds of garbage left behind, but they’ll be drowned out in a sold-out Stadio Olimpico.
“The fans always give us a huge boost, we want to bring home three very important points,” Zaniolo told Sky Sport Italia.
“It’s a positive period of form, we won at San Siro in Serie A and today have to get the victory to keep this run going.
“We know Betis are a strong team, but so are Roma, we’ve proved it before and will do again today.”
Tammy Abraham returns to the starting XI and Lorenzo Pellegrini is out injured, so Zaniolo starts with Dybala.
