The agent of Italy international Nicolò Zaniolo admits Milan are the team who are ‘tactically perfect’ for the Galatasaray player.
The former Roma man only moved to Turkey in February and has been repeatedly linked with a return to Serie A.
Juventus were considered the favourites for his signature, while Napoli, Fiorentina and Milan have also shown an interest in a summer swoop.
“He settled in straight away, but it is a pity not seeing him play in Serie A,” agent Claudio Vigorelli told TV Play.
“The transfer market is a long one, we’ll see what happens. We’re happy where we are, but if offers arrive, then they will be evaluated.”
It was put to Vigorelli that the ‘tactically perfect’ team for Zaniolo would be Stefano Pioli’s Milan and he did not disagree.
“Yes, that’s true, but I don’t want to get into that.”
Zaniolo turns 24 later this week and can play in a variety of roles, including on the right wing, as a trequartista or as a support striker.
These are all positions that Milan are seeking reinforcements for on the market this summer.
Galatasaray purchased the Italy international from Roma for €15m plus €10m in bonuses and a 10 per cent cut of the sell-on fee.
It has been rumoured there is a clause in the contract allowing him to return to Serie A for a lower price.
