Yaya Toure would bring a ‘guarantee’ to Inter, whilst Thiago Motta would just as equally aid the club’s rebirth, according to Javier Zanetti.
The former midfielder and current Vice-President has today commented on the continued links the Nerazzurri have to Manchester City’s Toure.
“Mancini knows him very well and if he wants him, it is for a reason,” Zanetti has considered to the Corriere dello Sport.

The former midfielder and current Vice-President has today commented on the continued links the Nerazzurri have to Manchester City’s Toure.
“Mancini knows him very well and if he wants him, it is for a reason,” Zanetti has considered to the Corriere dello Sport.
“Toure is a champion who for so long has been playing at the top and he can help us in terms of personality, because San Siro is not an easy stadium to perform at.
“Someone like Yaya would be a guarantee.”
Speculation is also that Inter are after a regista and are in talks with former Nerazzurro Thiago Motta about a return.
“Am I in favour of this? Yes, because Thiago is very strong, a complete midfielder that has shown his value both with Inter and Paris Saint-Germain. And he is one with personality and quality – everywhere that the game develops, you find him.
“I was lucky to have him by my side and I can assure you that he is a great one. He would give a big hand to the growth of the new Inter.”
Zanetti also considered the season run-in for Inter, who sit just three points behind the current final Europa League qualification position.
“Roberto Mancini is the right person, the Coach that we wanted. We are in agreement with him and believe that next season promises to be satisfying.
“Is the Europa League the target this season though? We do not have many alternatives – we must try to win the remaining four games and then see what happens. The schedule is not easy, because we will face Lazio, Juventus, Genoa and Empoli, but we need to believe.
“Lazio [this Sunday] is a very difficult game, because Pioli’s team are having a fantastic season and showing great consistency.
“They have players who can make the difference and they are not in the race for second place by chance.”
