Cristiano Zanetti has reportedly accepted a potential move from Fiorentina to relegation-threatened Brescia.

The Lombard club have shown an interest in the veteran midfielder and a transfer could be imminent.

Zanetti has struggled with injury and mediocre form at the Franchi since his 2009 switch from Juventus.

The former Italian international, 33, has been associated with Torino and Napoli too this month, but it seems that Brescia are the most keen.

The club are apparently ready to offer the Viola around €800,000 for a player who cost them €2m 18 months ago.

It's unclear whether Fiorentina will do a deal on those terms, but they may try to offer Zanetti to Brescia in a bid for their striker Andrea Caracciolo.
