Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti insists there is currently no room for Paulo Dybala in their squad, but ‘things could still change.’

La Joya is a free agent after his Juventus contract was allowed to expire on June 30 and was expected to sign for the Nerazzurri.

However, the arrival of Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea has changed the scenario, so he is training by himself and waiting for a new club.

“As our CEO Marotta said, Dybala has always been an opportunity for us, because he is a free agent, but today Inter have Lautaro Martinez, Romelu Lukaku, Joaquin Correa, Edin Dzeko and Alexis Sanchez,” Zanetti told Bolavip Argentina.

“We started pre-season with these players, but things could still change. At this moment, we are fine as we are.”

Dybala seems eager to continue waiting for Inter to make their move, although there is also interest from Roma, Napoli and to a lesser extent Milan.

He is asking for €6m per season wages, having lowered the initial €8m per year demands.

The Premier League is also an option, with Manchester United and Arsenal, but Dybala seems eager to remain in Serie A.

He arrived as a teenager to Palermo in 2012 and then moved to Juventus for €40m in the summer of 2015.

The 28-year-old Argentina international amassed 271 Serie A appearances, with 98 goals and 51 assists.

  1. Forget Inter it’s not hapoening, they should loose their opportunity. Inter does not value him and can take him or leave him. I think he needs a new manager because the one he has is not representing him well.
