Inter Vice-President Javier Zanetti confirmed Fredy Guarin is in advanced talks with Shanghai Shenhua, not Jiangsu Suning.
The midfielder is not in the squad for today’s Serie A game with Carpi at San Siro, as he is trying to work out his future.
“There are negotiations in progress with Shanghai, we hope to have some news as soon as possible,” Zanetti told Mediaset Premium.
“Will we reinvest the money after his sale? First we have to see how these talks go, then if we can do something to reinforce the team, we will.”
