“I wouldn’t have hired him,” Zamparini, who has appointed and dismissed numerous tacticians over the years, told Radio Mana Mana Sport.

“His style of football is nice to watch, but it needs so much time in order for it to be assimilated at its best.

“The problem is that you don’t get time in Italy.”

Meanwhile, the Rosanero have confirmed that they have bought a 50 per cent share in Nicolas Viola from Reggina.

The 22-year-old midfielder, handed a contract until June 2016, will move to Sicily in the summer.
