Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini says he sacked Coach Giuseppe Iachini today because ‘there was no chemistry any more’.
The Rosanero announced this morning that Iachini had been fired after more than two years in charge, to be replaced by former boss Davide Ballardini.
Zamparini has a reputation for his itchy trigger finger with Coaches, but defended his decision earlier today.

“There wasn’t any chemistry with Iachini anymore,” he told Gianluca Di Marzio.
“I took this decision because I took advantage of the international break, like this Ballardini can work calmly and solve the team’s problems.”
