Palermo chief Maurizio Zamparini says boss Delio Rossi is set to stay at the club – just a day after stating that a divorce was likely.

Zamparini made the U-turn this afternoon when speaking to journalists in Milan ahead of the Lega Calcio meeting.

"There is a 90 per cent chance that he will stay because he is like my wife," he stated. "You can have an argument, but you stay together.

Zamparini made the U-turn this afternoon when speaking to journalists in Milan ahead of the Lega Calcio meeting.

"There is a 90 per cent chance that he will stay because he is like my wife," he stated. "You can have an argument, but you stay together.

"At the end of the season we will sit down and talk man to man to see if there is the harmony that has been missing this term. If we find that then he won't go."

Zamparini axed Rossi earlier this season only to call him back after Serse Cosmi's struggles at the Stadio Barbera.

Rossi has been linked with numerous clubs for 2011-12, including Sampdoria, Atalanta, Genoa and Napoli.
