There are reports that El Flaco is pushing for a transfer to the Stadio Olimpico rather than options like Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid.

“I hear from (Roma director of sport Walter) Sabatini every two or three days, but we have never talked about Pastore,” Zamparini told Radio Mana Mana.

“In any case, the player is 90 per cent sure of leaving Palermo this summer.”

The Rosanero have slapped a €50m price-tag on the Argentine, although reports suggest Roma have offered €25m cash plus Matteo Brighi and Stefano Okaka.

“We don't need midfielders, nor players who are currently at Roma, because they earn too much for our wage structure,” continued the Palermo patron.

“We'll see. It all depends on what bid Roma make. With the right offer, Pastore could go to Roma.”

Meanwhile, the Sicilians seem ready to keep hold of Cassani, who had been linked with Lazio” data-scaytid=”27″>Lazio.

“If Lazio signed Abdoullay Konko, then it means they no longer want Cassani. That's fine with me, considering he'll be crucial in Stefano Pioli's 3-4-3 system.”
