President Maurizio Zamparini admits Palermo will have to sell Franco Vazquez – but not until next season.

The Argentine has moved on, joining Juventus for €40m, and despite speculation Vazquez could follow, Zamparini insists he will spend one more season in Sicily.

“If teams offer Vazquez €2m per season, then it’s that the player will start to put pressure on me,” the Palermo patron told Radio Sportiva.

“As I’ve said, I’ll sell him next year.”
