The Rosanero close out Week 5 of Serie A this evening at home to Lazio and former Coach Stefano Pioli.

Despite murmurings in recent weeks of pressure building on his own tactician, Palermo’s President is currently in jovial mood.

“Tonight will be a great game between two teams who have fewer points in the standings than they have earned on the pitch,” Zamparini has previewed on Gr Parlamento today.

“We had a difficult start, we have always controlled the games though and Iachini is doing very well in using the team from last year whilst introducing the new faces a little at a time.

“I have faith in the Coach – Palermo can aspire to sixth or seventh place.”

Zamparini also commented on radio today on Paulo Dybala’s trajectory with the team.

“In two years he will have a valuation of between €35m and €40m. He is not like Pastore or Cavani, he reminds me of Montella.

“He has a great speed over short distances, he can creep between the lines, he has a great shot and he reads the game well.”
