Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini confirms Emiliano Viviano will move to Sampdoria permanently, and has ‘no problem’ with Massimo Ferrero.

The 29-year-old spent the season on loan at Luigi Ferraris, and the Rosanero President reveals the move will become permanent this summer.

“Viviano will go back to Sampdoria as agreed,” Zamparini revealed, speaking to genoasamp.com.

“Sampdoria have exercised their right of redemption, for the amount agreed last year. If there are any complications, Viviano will stay with Palermo.”

Earlier this year, Zamparini had a falling-out with Blucerchiati President Massimo Ferrero, who accused him of making death threats.

However, the Palermo patron insists any bad blood is firmly behind them.

“There’s no problem with Ferrero. We clarified the situation, and I consider him a great President, I think he’ll take Sampdoria to a higher level.

“Football needs people like him.”
