Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini “can say with certainty” that former Coach Beppe Iachini won’t return.
The patron fired Iachini in favour of Davide Ballardini in November, but refused to rule out reversing his decision.
“There’s confidence in Ballardini,” Zamparini told Sky.

“There’s confidence in Ballardini,” Zamparini told Sky.
“Yesterday things didn’t work, but he hasn’t been here long, and I can say with certainty that Iachini won’t return.
“Reinforcements will arrive in January, we’ve already taken [Manuel] Arteaga, but others will come in too.
“[Abdelhamid] El Kaoutari will leave, then a defender will come in. After that we’re lacking a winger, a midfielder and a striker.”
