Pablo Zabaleta has outlined how important facing and beating Roma is for Manchester City in the Champions League.
The English host the Italians tomorrow evening in the second round of group stage fixtures without a point on the board following matchday one’s results.
“We want to do better in the Champions League compared with the previous three seasons,” Zabaleta has told City’s in-house television service over the weekend.

“We lost the first match against Bayern, now we face Roma at home and we know how important it is to win this game.
“It is going to be another tough game, Roma are doing very well in their League, but hopefully we can do well and win the game.”
