Pogba has occasionally been accused of not living up to the €110m that Manchester United paid Juve to bring him back last summer.

Lasting just 19 minutes of United’s 3-0 win against Basel on Tuesday due to injury, that did not stop Souness from delivering some stinging criticism.

“I want to see Paul Pogba do what Fellaini does,” the Scot told Irish broadcater TV3.

The Daily Mirror also cites the Liverpool legend as saying Pogba was “a bit of a YouTuber” that had not won much in his career, despite the 24-year-old winning four Scudetti and a Europa League to date.

The Frenchman was also recently accused of having an “adolescent” mentality due to his penchant for zany haircuts by another former player-turned-pundit, Garth Crooks.
