The Old Lady are ready to enter the new year and hopes are high for Massimiliano Allegri’s Juventus as they look to return to the top.

Things have not been easy for the Bianconeri over the last 18 months, with the club suffering seemingly endless off-pitch difficulties, ranging from trials and penalties to ownership changes and player suspensions.

Juventus hardly invested in the summer transfer window, prompting Allegri to continue trusting in the club’s young talents, and his work has already started to pay dividends in the Piedmont capital.

Numerous talented youngsters have broken through in Turin, with recent examples including Kenan Yildiz and Dean Huijsen, and those out on loan have also shown impressive signs, like Matias Soule at Frosinone.

Despite their difficulties and changing direction, Juventus sit second in the Serie A table after 18 matches, just two points behind rivals Inter. Their lack of European competition could give them a key boost in the second half of the campaign, allowing them to dream of lifting the Scudetto once again.

Juventus spent the last three seasons watching their rivals at the top lift the trophy one by one, unable to taste victory themselves, but in 2024 Allegri’s youthful side have a serious shot of becoming champions of Italy once again.
