Inter are pushing to close out a deal for Cagliari talent Raoul Bellanova and they may send youth prospect Cesare Casadei to Sardinia in exchange.
Calciomercato.com details how the Nerazzurri and Rossoblu executives met this evening to progress the Bellanova talks, keen to finalise proceedings. Contracted to Cagliari until 2026, the 22-year-old Italian full back had a promising season in Sardinia, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
Cagliari have asked Inter for Primavera midfielder Casadei as part of the deal. The 19-year-old Italian was a key part of the team that won the Primavera 1 title this season. Contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2024, the teenager made 39 appearances across all competitions, scoring 16 goals and providing five assists.
Inter are keen to pick up a new right wing back to provide coach Simone Inzaghi with a little more cover in the department. Denzel Dumfries is currently the starter in that role, although rumours suggest he could be sold this summer.
